 greeNEWit Exhibits at MMHA’s 2013 Industry Development Day and EXPO

BALTIMORE, MD – greeNEWit, a local sustainability company that provides energy solutions for homeowners, corporations and municipalities that reduce energy-related expenses, lower utility bills and improve the environmental impact, will exhibit at the 2013 Industry Development Day and Expo. The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. February 28, 2013 at Martin's West, 6817 Dogwood Rd., Baltimore, Maryland.

As an energy services provider to the MMHA, greeNEWit will have a booth at the exhibit hall and will be offering state-of-the-art tools and resources that property managers and commercial building owners need in order for the the multi-family sector to run well and more energy efficiently during 2013.

greeNEWit joins 90 associate MMHA members and leaders of the condo and apartment community at the event that will include a networking reception and a round table of industry heavyweights: Deane Dolben of the The Dolben Company, Josh Fidler of Chesapeake Realty Partners and Mark Caplan of The Time Group/WPM Real Estate Group. Speaking at the summit is Anirban Basu, chairman and ceo of Sage Policy Group, Inc., an economic and policy consulting firm in Baltimore, Maryland.

greeNEWit’s involvement comes as a result of being a leader in the Multi-Family Quick Home Energy Check-up Program (QHEC). The company provides energy and water saving upgrades that include the installation of CFL light bulbs, aerators, efficient-flow showerheads, water heater tank wraps and pipe insulation. Through this collaborative effort, greeNEWit has installed 269,375 compact fluorescent light bulbs to more than 25,859 residences in the state of Maryland and are saving 14,278,335 kWh of electricity and 327,400,237 gallons of water annually.

The MMHA is a professional non-profit trade association established in 1996. MMHA's membership consists of owners and property managers of more than 161,000 rental housing homes in more than 600 apartment communities that house almost 200,000 families in the state of Maryland and more than 200 associate members that supply goods and services to the multi-housing industry.
