COLUMBIA, MD - greeNEWit is excited to announce that Julie Roby, director of residential energy solutions, will be a featured keynote speaker at this year’s East Coast Women in Green Forum on September 25, 2013 at 10:45 a.m. The event will be held at the US Green Building Council Headquarters located in in Washington, DC.

As the director of residential energy solutions for greeNEWit, Roby oversees all field and data operations, develops performance standards, improves tracking systems and maintains relationships with Maryland utility companies to achieve the goals of the Empower Maryland Energy Efficiency Act. Roby will be speaking on behalf of greeNEWit about her experience in the industry and discussing how entrepreneurship drives sustainable innovation.

Founded in 2009, the Women in Green conference series highlights the impact women have on the environmental arena, provide attendees with valuable professional insight and skills, as well as builds a community of professionals supporting each other in their career endeavors.
