Josh Notes Attends Startup America Partnership Region Championship Summit

PHOENIX, ARIZONA - Last week, greeNEWit, a Maryland sustainability company that helps homeowners and businesses adopt energy efficiency best practices, sent a representative to participate in the Startup America Partnership Region Championship Summit in Phoenix, Arizona.

Josh Notes, one of three greeNEWit co-founders, attended the summit as a Maryland regional champion. Region champions are local entrepreneurs, investors and corporate representatives volunteering their time and skills toward a common goal: growing their local startup community.

The summit was open to all startup champions who could attend from the 32 launched regions.

The event took place at Seed Spot, a Phoenix-based nonprofit incubator supporting Arizona early-stage social entrepreneurs. During the event, 125 entrepreneurs from more than 35 states identified and tackled common community building challenges and discussed big ideas that will make each community a great place to grow a business.

Startup America Partnership is a national network of entrepreneurial business ventures. The organization gives startup businesses across the country the opportunity to network with one another and receive regional and national support.

greeNEWit provides energy and water saving upgrades that help residents and businesses save money on their energy bills and reduce the carbon footprint. The company aims to promote sustainability, reduce consumption, eliminate waste and reform our relationship with the environment.
