On June 20th, the Council hosted a ceremony at the George Howard Building located in Ellicott City, Maryland to honor greeNEWit for its contributions to making Howard County a better place to live and work.

The Council recognition comes on the heels of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce announcing greeNEWit as a winner of its annual DREAM BIG Blue Ribbon Small Business Awards®, recognizing 100 companies for their success and their contributions to America’s economic growth and vitality.

The County Council consists of five members who serve four-year terms and who, since 1986, have been elected from five separate districts. There is a three term limit for Council members.
