Julie Roby of greeNEWit Speaks at Multi-Family Housing Conference

Amelia Island, FLgreeNEWit’s director of residential energy solutions, Julie Roby, was a featured panelist at this year’s MAXIMIZE Multifamily Asset Management Conference in Amelia Island, Florida.  The event was held at the Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort on October 15, 2014.

 

As the director of residential energy solutions for greeNEWit, Julie oversees all field and data operations, develops performance standards, improves tracking systems and maintains relationships with Maryland utility companies to achieve the goals of the Empower Maryland Energy Efficiency Act. At the conference, Ms. Roby spoke on behalf of greeNEWit about her experience in the industry and discussed how green strategies, such as energy audits and lighting upgrades, can deliver net operating income in savings and new revenue. She emphasized the importance of evaluating a multi-family portfolio to see what incentives or rebates can be taken advantage of when implementing such projects.
