Our story
A group of friends who decided action was needed to awaken our collective conscience and save the planet.
It started in a home, just like yours, where it was too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. With knowledge acquired and proper training complete, the greeNEWit scientific method for home energy auditing success was born.
After challenges were presented during energy audits, solutions were proposed, prioritized and implemented. As each relationship was built, one home energy client at a time, our collective carbon footprint began to drop and our energy efficiency expertise grew.
With something to talk about, the community became our target audience. Our goal was now set, “empower each individual who crossed our path with the independent facts on sustainability and energy efficiency…”
This truth would transform their minds and ultimately create their greeNEWit gameplan to take action and join the sustainable revolution. With the positive energy flowing, the HOOKED ON GREEN movement began to snowball uphill.
In addition to our homes…our community centers, businesses and government buildings needed energy solutions. We provided senior level engineering skills and applied our scientific methods for commercial energy auditing.
Our message was gaining traction within the adult community, but our mission was still incomplete.
As we searched with passion for the final piece to our community puzzle, we found in our elementary, middle and high schools a method to motivate our youth and make this movement sustainable.
Teach our children through an inclusive journey to solve our current global challenges.
Incorporate technology, a metrics for accountability & the motivation of ownership.
Responsibility and selflessness will prevail to create our next generation of leaders.
